The Marines of VMFA-142 have been serving our country since 1942. After returning from Iraq in September 2005 they were selected for cadre. The squadron will be moved to JRB Fort Worth in July 2008 and will cease to exist as of August 31st, 2008. The Gators have called NAS Atlanta home since July 1997. The weekend of May 30 they will hold the "unofficial" shut-down party in Marietta, GA. All former and current Gators are invited. Check this website for all the latest information.
